Coming home to her after a meeting

So Shannon came over to do laundry, and I made us bugers and fries for dinner. Shortly after we finished eating, Jen came over to relieve me of my empty cans and bottles. So after she had cleaned out my kitchen (I had let the cans and bottles built up quite a bit), she headed home.

So Shannon and I hung out for a bit, and the laundry buzzed so she went downstairs and a bit after that I headed down there to kiss her goodbye and then headed downtown to the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition meeting. I met Jen down there and I really enjoyed the way the insides of the Temple for Performing arts, was. I wanted to take pictures. So they are really starting to ramp up. Trying to get funding for a Fall Festival, with the goals of having seasonal festivals. So as I'm sitting there, I really thing that I should get involved with something or another, but some of the things sound like they would involve a major time commitment, and I don't know if I have that kind of time, between wanting spare time, having a girlfriend, having friends, and work....

When I got home, Shannon, who was curled up on the couch under a blanket, said, "Welcome home, honey". This really felt right. So we cuddled up on the couch and then around 10:30 or so, she headed home.
