After being a long time Eudora user for my email client, I have finally said enough is enough and I am switching to another client.

Over the last few months, Eudora has gotten slower and slower, and crashes more and more oftent. Sometimes due to mal-formed images (which it should protect against) and sometimes due to the fact that I have so much email. Either way, I can't take it anymore. It is just a bit frustrating to be typing along an email message, have Eudora download messages in the background and the next thing I know, I can't type for the next 2 minutes.

I know these are just my personal experiences with it, but it has just been frustrating as all hell. So since it has reached the 1.0 stage, I have now switched to Thunderbird.

So far, just this evenign alone, my experiences has been quite enjoyable, Folders (like my folder for email from my family, which has over 1200 messages in it) pop up quicker then they used to. It's been quite nice.

I know there will be a period of adjustment, because I have to rebuild my junk mail and regular mail filters, but I think I'll live.
