Bridal Show (at Jordan Creek)
So it seems to me, that weddings are becoming more and more about putting on a show and a party and less about the vows and starting a life together.
Oh well, what can you expect?
Anyhoo, I saw a few neat things there, I saw a chocolate fountain and that was kinda cool (although I think the chocolate was a bit too thick. Shannond did get a few ideas about her dress and we did collect some names of photographers and etc. So I guess that's not bad. Shannon also regisiterd to win a bunch of stuff. I tried to stay away from her when she did that, cause I've only ever won something once (and I didn't really want that).
There were lots of mothers and brides to be...probably some other people. We sat down to watch this bridal fashion show, and on the row that I was on there was like 30 or 40 women and 4 guys (including me).
There was one booth that was giving out samples of some pork thing (to try to get you to have your rehersal dinner/reception catered by them) and you'd think they'd want to put their best foot forward, but when it came down to it, it was really...well...the sauce was good, the meet was fairly tough. Certainly not something I'd serve to people.
There are other bridal shows coming up...I don't particularly want to go, but, it's not like I was totally bored out of my mind (it wasn't fun, but, it could've been worse, I guess). Maybe if we get the last details taken care of by then, I won't have to. Or maybe Shannon can go with Tiff, or her sister or mom could come up... But if she wants me to go, I will.
