So last week I orderd a new iPod battery for my iPod. Since I've been having trouble updating it and getting it to sync (since it has to reformat to sync it has to then re-copy over 6000 or so songs, and lappy doesn't charge it while it does that).

So I figured, hay, replace the battery, you'll be able to get the sync done...

Brandon got me worried about the whole battery replacement thing when it came on monday, cause he had heard that it was tough to do.

So I went home a little nervous...

But inside of 30 minutes I had the battery replaced and charging on the new battery. All the buttons and screen and what not work as they did before, so that's good.

It still didn't solve the problem of the sync. However I did start to stop the sync near the end of the battery life, and it seems to be working much better (before I'd let it go until the battery tottally died on it). and I'm about 1/3 way resynced again, which is more then I ever got before.

but yay! I didn't mess my iPod up!
