This vaguely broke a rule that I’ve had for a long time, where we do not participate in making Christmas even longer (day after thanksgiving is fine). When you see the Temple series and your wife specifically requests to go, you buy tickets.

We had a nice dinner at Clyde’s Fine Diner, and drove over to the temple theater and got quite nice parking.

This was the second show of their Christmas tour (the first being the afternoon show) and the first city of the tour as they had flown in from Dublin the night before. There were some new, some from the last show and I think I got to see my first performance of Uilleann pipes, which was fascinating in and of itself.

Good music, good dance, good voices and fun overall. If they keep coming, we’ll keep going.
