Oh no! Cops!

So I went up to Waterloo today, taking the country route which not only saved a lot of distance but saved a lot of time. I got to see Shannon, meet her father, sisster, new brother in law, and re-meet her friend. It was pretty cool. I do miss her a lot and not just cause I miss the good food. It's fun to be around her and she knows me pretty well and can dig the good/bad stuff out of me.

We ate at this chineese resturant and the food was good. What was really cool was that when they broght out the fortune cookeies they bring it out on a tray with a metal thing that has hot water and dry ice in it...creating this smoky effect over the tray. It looked really cool.

On my way back, I was driving on Highway 63 going around 65 or 70 (55 speed limit) and I see the lights in my rearview mirror and I'm a little upset. So I pull over and basically all the cop wanted to do was to make sure that I was aware that my headlight was out. He didn't even give me a fix-it ticket. Just a verbal warning about it.

The rest of the trip was uneventful, other then me beating myself up for not expressing things that I should. I wish it wasn't so hard for me to express things without over-thinking how other people are going to take it.
