Mortadella Grilled Cheese
I saw a hunk of Beecher’s 4 year at CostCo and picked it up. It made for a nice combination.
Green Curry Chicken with Green Beans
I bought green curry paste, when I couldn’t find the red. But I ended up delaying that and getting the red curry paste the next week. So I specifically looked up something to do this. This seemed like a good thing to do and it was. I may have had a bit more chicken then called for, but it still worked out well. I’ll have to see what else I can do with the last of the curry paste.
Skillet Baked Macaroni and Cheese
I have been listening to The Recipie with Kenji and Deb (though following the works each of them separately for a while) and this is an outcome of that. It was pretty good, though I did forget to add the condensed milk (it was not listed as a separate ingredient). I’ll have to make this again. Also used the Beecher’s 4 Year. And Sam, you might ask, “why such a nice cheese?” Because I can.

Skillet Turkey Burgers
These were a nice way to punch in a lot of flavor to turkey. Like a lot of flavor. Quite good. Will be making again.
As the overhead lights in the kitchen are starting to fail or something, I have been frustrated when cooking after dark. This has been brought to my attention again, as the light has been leaving us again. I picked up a light strip to add it to the darker side of the kitchen, and installed it. It does create a nice set of shadows above the bottles in the room.
