Thai Flavors

So Shannon wanted Chinese food, more exactly, she wanted crab rangoon. So I'm thinking, well, where do we go for some good crab rangoon, I had no idea, so I text message my boss, and he calls me back. I ask about Chinese, he wants more details, so I mention the crab rangoon. So he's thinking, and can't bring it up so he calls Chad, to get the idea.

He comes back with Thai Flavors. So that's where we went. Afterwards I found the review at the Des Moines Register, and it gets 4*s. So not bad at all.

Anyways, the place was practically empty when we got there, because it was a little early (just a bit after 5). So we sit down. We ordered the crab rangoon, and I had the Chicken Green Currey and Shannon had chicken...with noodles and broccoli...I forget. The green tea I ordered was a bit weak, but ok.

The crab rangoon...was...well...probably the best crab rangoon that I've had. In most places you get small ones that have mostly cream cheese in it, probably with a vague taste of crab, but these had actual crab in it. It was really good. Crunchy on the outside, crab and an enticing mix of spices and cream cheese one the inside. Good stuff.

The Dinner came. At Thai flavors you can order your food one five levels of spicyness. I went right for the middle, Shannon went right for the mild. The green curry was really quite good. It was green, it was spicy enough to make me sweat a little, but not painful. It was quite good. Shannon's dish, though not spicy, was still very good. The chicken in both the dishes was tender and tasty.

Afterwards we headed off to run some errends, but we will deffinatly have to return.
