So the boot drive came back up, but in such a fashion that it was unbootable (a lot of data corruption).
We were back up and running by about 5:30 or so.
There was also some data corruption on the data drive (but we had made backups of that).
We're getting our backup software installed this morning including the SQL agent.
So we're back running, more or less.
We did loose something, and it's my fault that I didn't think about it. We had importer scripts in SQL to import text files from our HR system. I feel bad, but then this will increase our push to get a direct ODBC connection to the data that we need.
We'll see what happens.
Other then that things went pretty well. I had some Laphroaig Scotch last night and a beer, and I felt quite a bit better.
I got up this morning, and I really need new shoes. I think they are worn out. My walks have been hurting my muscles more and more, so I'm thinking it's time to get new shoes. So I will be doing that with my next paycheck (third paycheck of the month, yay!).
