So I weeded the rocks under my bushes in my front yard, between the cracks on the sidewalk and drive way, and the weeds around the flowers on the sideyard.
It's a tough to pull out some of these weeds. The roots of some of these were longer then the plants themselves.
After weeding the flowers I had big stacks of weeds on the lawn, so to make them lesser, I broke out the mower and chopped them all up.
Last night Jen and I met over at Wal-Mart over in Windsor Heights and bought Clue (the Simpsons version) and Crainium. Normally I hate shoping at that walmart because the customer service sucks and I always feel like they don't want me there, but when you are shopping late at night (10:30PM) it is kinda tough to not go to walmart cause everything else is closed.
We then went over to the Hy-vee grocery store, that was where I used to go ALL the time for my grocerys (it was 1/2 mile from my apartment), and picked up some snacks (some carrots, celeary, and stuff not so good for you).
Then we drove to my house and met Dusty there. We played clue and Dusty won (I was pretty close to having all the clues discoverd). And in that time Mike showed up and I gave him a tour and we kinda hung out and talked about things. We talked outside, but then brought it back inside because of the misquitos. shortly after that, Jen fell asleep, curled up on the corner of my couch.
Dusty, Mike and I continued to talk and eventually put in a movie. Shortly after that everyone fell asleep. Dusty by Jen, Mike on the other side of the couch and me with my head up against the couch under where Jen was sleeping. I woke up around 3:30 or 4 in the morning and then stopped the movie, put away some of the snacks still left out...Dusty had woken up so I said good night to him and went up to my bed.
I woke up at around 9 or so and Jen and Dut were gone but Mikey was spread out on my couch (I think it had been a long time since he had slept). I think mikey finally woke up around noon, cause I saw him walk to his car and take off.
It was a fun night, even though we all ended up falling asleep.
Having a house is kind of nice. I can't wait to get my grill fixed and get some patio furniture and have people over on a semi-regular basis.
